Where are you located?

We are located in Beragala or lower Haputale between the two tallest waterfalls, Bambarakanda and Diyaluma. We are about 45 minutes from Ella
How many types of rooms do you have?

Hapu Tales has 1 triple room and 2 double rooms in the main villa and 1 triple suite in a stand alone building
How many guests can stay in the property?

Hapu Tales has 1 suite and 3 rooms, accommodating up to 10 guests. It can also be booked as an exclusive 3 or 4-room villa.
What is your food like?

You can enjoy fresh local meals, including Sri Lankan curries and Western favorites. We also have a unique Thaal cuisine experience.
Can I book the whole property?

Yes, it can be booked as an exclusive 3-room villa for 4 to 7 adults, or as an exclusive 4-room villa for 8 to 10 adults.
Is the property suitable for families?

The property is suitable for families but not for children 3-11 due to unprotected balconies and unfenced pools. Children 12 and over are considered adults.
Is the property suitable for couples?

Our villas offer private, tranquil spaces, making them an ideal retreat for couples seeking a romantic getaway.
Is the property suitable for children?

Children 0-2 years stay free (food not included). The property is not suitable for children 3-11 due to unprotected balconies and unfenced pools. Children 12 and over are considered adults.
Is the villa fully private?

Yes, it can be booked as an exclusive 3-room villa for 4 to 7 adults, or as an exclusive 4-room villa for 8 to 10 adults. Contact us for more information
Do you provide drivers accommodation?

We do not provide accommodation for drivers. However, we are happy to assist in finding suitable arrangements for your driver nearby prior to your arrival. the driver can pay. Costs around Rs. 4 – 5,000 with meals per night.
What are check-in/out times?

Check-in is at 14:00 hrs. and check-out is at 11:00 hrs.
What is the cancellation policy?

We offer flexible cancellations with advance notice. Exact terms depend on the season. Please refer to your confirmation email or contact us for details.
What is the payment policy?

We require a 50% payment to confirm your booking, with the full balance due at least 10 working days before arrival.
What is Thaal Cuisine Experience?

It’s a unique dining experience rooted in traditional recipes and customs.
What special amenities are offered?

The property features a swimming pool, indoor and outdoor dining, and a garden. The Ruby Ridge room has an ensuite double jacuzzi.
