Where are you located?

We are located in Kataragama near the quieter Katagamuwa entrance of Yala National Park.
How many types of tents do you have?

Kulu Safaris has six classic canvas tents of which four are doubles and two family tents.
How many guests can stay in the property?

Kulu Safaris has six tents in total, accommodating a total of 20 guests.
What is your food like?

The full-board basis includes all meals and beverages. Our intimate bush dinners feature authentic Sri Lankan cuisine prepared with fresh, local ingredients, providing a truly unique culinary experience in the heart of nature, making it a highlight of Camping in Yala.
Can I book the whole property?

Yes, we offer exclusive buy-out options for the entire property, providing you with full privacy for your group or family. Contact us for more details
Is the property suitable for families?

Yes, There are family tents available with activities to immerse yourselves in.
Is the property suitable for couples?

Our villas offer private, tranquil spaces, making them an ideal retreat for couples seeking a romantic getaway.
Is the property suitable for children?

Absolutely, Kulu Safaris is a great place for children to immerse in wildlife. Supplements apply for children sharing a tent with parents.
Is the villa fully private?

Yes, we offer exclusive buy-out options for the entire property, providing you with full privacy for your group or family.
Do you provide drivers accommodation?

We do not provide accommodation for drivers. However, we are happy to assist in finding suitable arrangements for your driver nearby prior to your arrival. The driver can pay. Costs around Rs. 4 – 5,000 with meals per night.
What are check-in/out times?

The check-in time is at 1 pm and the check-out time is at 11 am.
What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations are only effective upon written notification. If a reservation is canceled within four weeks of the reservation date, a 100% cancellation charge will apply. There are no refunds for no-shows.
What is an exclusive vehicle supplement?

An exclusive vehicle supplement is USD 200 per day for up to five guests, subject to availability and advance notice. Not available during the peak period (between 15th Dec – 15th Jan) .
Are there any extra charges?

Child supplements apply for children sharing a tent with parents.
