We love Sri Lanka

There is no one picture or phrase that can capture the Sri Lankan people,  and how they make you feel. "A humble, caring,  gentle race full of smiles and grace. A people who make you feel welcomed and want to share why they love their conuntry so much" is the best we can do. Perhaps after you visit, you can help us improve this description. 

Few people realise that Sri Lanka is an "earth lung". We have mountains double the height of Ben Nevis, 5 times more rivers than in the UK,  400 waterfall and the tallest is 5 times the height of Niagara Falls.  

Sri Lanka has been shaped by decades of colonialization, but at our core is a history and culture that can be traced back over 2,000 years. We have ancient monuments, as well as traditions  that have not survived , but thrived , and are very much alive today.
